We stayed out in Waycross for a staycation out of Savannah. We wanted to try something local to Waycross & This was the cutest pizza place! The pizza was absolutely delightful! The family style bread sticks is a must! We honestly couldn't decide on a favorite they were so good & different. One has cheddar & pepperoni, they're original is mozzarella and cheddar, they have one with bacon. They're unlike any cheese sticks you've had before! The guy that helped us was super sweet, greeted us right as we came in & ensured we had everything we needed for our togo order! They even have dippin dots! (We didn't get any this time, but how fun!) definitely great for togos, even cuter to sit in especially for family's!
It was a quiet night at Gooey's but we had a great time. The employees made the whole experience. We got a great deal for two large pizzas. In addition, I had the supreme chicken alfredo pasta. My husband loved his pepperoni and my son had the Cajun pizza. We will return very soon to try more off the menu.
The best pizza in Waycross. Staff seems friendly and quick to take your order. The restaurant it self is fun, lots of murals on the walls and a few arcade games last time is ate inside the restaurant.
Forgot to take pictures, but we ordered 6 different pizzas and all were delicious and cooked to perfection. Waitress was great. Did not notice that gratuity was already added to the check.... She returned to let us know she was tipped twice and offered to correct the final amount. Nice to know there are still honest folks around! (We let her keep the extra tip).
I have not seen the physical Restaurante but the pizza and wings that were delivered were amazing. The price is a tad bit high but with what is going on with the economy and the COVID pandemic, everything was great and I will order again when I come back to Waycross for more training at CSX. I would attach a photo of the pizza but it was gone in the matter of minutes that's how good it was. The wings were devoured soon after.
Pizza is pricey but you don't mind paying more for good quality. Food is absolutely delicious. Pizza dough is fresh, perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Pizza is cooked just right- semi soft dough and crust is crunchy. WINGS ARE SMOKIN!! Yum yum!
We out here from C-A-L-I- .... and this is the only place I get my HOTSticks... from because they are delicious. Thanks, Gooey's staff for your great service.
My family and I really enjoyed our trip here. The decoration and ambiance is very laid back and fun. See the pictures is the walls. More importantly the pizza was fantastic. The bacon cheeseburger was by far the favorite. I didn't think I'd like it but it was very good. Adding some dill pickles pushed it over the top. The stuffed crust was quite possible the best I ever had. The meat lovers pizza was good but didn't seem as good compared to the cheeseburger pizza. The spas sticks I probably won't get again. They are cheddar and pepperoni with Parmesan. They were done well I juts think I'll try their piggy sticks instead. The staff was very nice. I definitely recommend
